You will probably design your own publicity on computer, but if you want to preview a basic example of a leaflet RIGHT CLICK HERE and choose “Save Target As” or “Save Link As”, then open the file with Acrobat Reader. It will download in under a minute. If you want printed copies you must set your printer to print on A5 sheets. You may need to trim the margins after printing.
Good Leadership
The “Finding Out” course is for those with little or no understanding of the Christian Gospel. It is essential, therefore, that the course should be under the guidance of a well-informed and capable leader who can answer the questions that arise. Course leaders should visit “Finding Out About Christ”, on the left, with its summaries and comments. There they will find additional help for their own presentation of the course.
Before You Meet
Make sure the student can use the index at the front of the Bible. Then give the student a copy of the first study and ask him/her to write down, in the space provided, the relevant Bible verse. You should also ask the student to read the study through carefully in preparation for the meeting. This simple process of entering Bible passages, and reading through the study in advance, is an excellent way of preparing the mind for the study itself.
Subsequent Meetings
At the end of each study be sure to hand out the following study. Then the student can read it and enter the relevant verses in time for your next meeting. There are seven studies in all. Study 7 calls for a response to the Gospel’s command to repent and believe on Christ. At this point the leader should encourage the student to frankly acknowledge his sin and turn to Christ for salvation.
