WE ARE FORGETFUL BY NATURE. But it is not right to forget favours that others have done for us. It is gross ingratitude when, with a little effort on our part, we might recall their kindness.

There can be no excuse for forgetting the love of the Saviour. Such love requires us to make every effort to remember it. Jesus has given us the symbols of bread and wine because He knows how forgetful we are. If you are now a true believer in Christ, you should take the bread and wine in memory of the One who loved you and gave Himself for you.

First repent of your sins and come to Christ for salvation. Then be baptised in obedience to Christ’s command. Then join a Christian Church where the Word of God is faithfully preached. Finally join with them in the taking of bread and wine in memory of Christ’s love. And grow in Christ in the warmth of Christian teaching, fellowship and prayer.
SUMMARY: Christians often take bread and wine in celebration of their Saviour’s death. Jesus Himself told them to do this. The broken bread represents His broken body on the cross. And the wine is a symbol of His shed blood. Christians should often think about their Lord’s death. Such love must never be forgotten! Such depths of love should be thoroughly explored!

Christians should also pray with each other. Combined prayer is powerful! Prayer at home is also important. God cares for them because He is their Father. They should share the details of their life with Him. Finally, Christians must not be ashamed of Christ for He was not ashamed of them!. They should be ready to speak about Him to others, with the help of God.

We have come to the end of the course. If you did this online, you should give serious consideration to finding a good Christian Church near you, so that you can learn more about Jesus Christ.
